I love it when my predictions come out right. I said before the election that Obama would sign up immediately for a book deal that would bring in a few million, and then start the speaking tour business at a few hundred thousand bucks per. Well, here we are. A $400K speaking engagement on Wall Street for the "fat cats" he used to denigrate. But that was then, and this is now. And his disciples will support it fully since after all, all the former Presidents do it. (Really? I don't recall George Bush racking up big bucks for speaking tours. I did see him in VA hospitals with wounded vets and at airports welcoming vets home, and I don't think he was charging for that.) --Del
